The Better Identity Coalition urges the new U.S. DOGE Service to ensure any investments in addressing benefits fraud can also be used to protect Americans from a wider set of cybercrime and fraud threats – and make it much harder for organized criminals and hostile nation states like China to steal our identities: When thinking about identity and fraud, recognize that this is not a government benefits issue but rather an infrastructure and national security issue.
